Films In The Southern Highlands (FISH) is an independent film group administered by volunteers and dedicated to screening “Art House” films which are not usually on general release.

Selected films are screened monthly at The Empire Cinema, Bowral, New South Wales.

Dear FISH members,

We are pleased to inform you that FISH screenings are about to resume. The first of these are on Sunday 14 February and Tuesday 16 February.

You will soon be receiving an email outlining the procedures to be followed to attend the screening. These are in accordance with government regulations.

While it is our plan to resume regular monthly screenings, as you will appreciate, this will be subject to no further Covid 19 restrictions being imposed.

Your current membership is valid till June and in due course you will be notified about renewal of membership.

Our first screening is Romantic Road, information about which is available on this website under Screenings.

Sandra Gillespie (President).

Each season, FISH shows 11 quality films of varied genres from a diverse range of world cultures. Each month (except January, when there is no film), members may attend either of two screenings: Sunday at 10.00 am or the following Tuesday at 8.15 pm.
