Films In The Southern Highlands (FISH) is an independent film group administered by volunteers and dedicated to screening “Art House” films which are not usually on general release.

Selected films are screened monthly at The Empire Cinema, Bowral, New South Wales.

Dear FISH Members,

We hope you have remained healthy and have not found the Covid-19 restrictions too difficult to endure.

At present, as you will know, there has been no government announcement about the re-opening of cinemas but we do know that for some time after their re-opening there will be restrictions on the number of attendees.

Once this situation has been clarified we will be able to approach the Empire to try to find a way in which FISH screenings can be held to comply with the restrictions.

Your membership will remain current until further notice and you will be advised when this situation changes. At that point you will be notified in writing and up to date information will also be posted on the website (www.fish.org.au).

Sandra Gillespie on behalf of the FISH Committee.

Each season, FISH shows 11 quality films of varied genres from a diverse range of world cultures. Each month (except January, when there is no film), members may attend either of two screenings: Sunday at 10.00 am or the following Tuesday at 8.15 pm.
