Films In The Southern Highlands (FISH) is an independent film group administered by volunteers and dedicated to screening “Art House” films which are shown monthly at The Empire Cinema, Bowral.

Each season FISH shows 11 films of varied genres from a diverse range of countries and film makers.

Members may attend screenings either on Sunday at 10:00 am or the following Tuesday at 8:15 pm.

Membership

Membership registration for the 2024 – 2025 season is now closed.

 

Each season, FISH shows 11 quality films of varied genres from a diverse range of world cultures. Each month (except January, when there is no film), members may attend either of two screenings: Sunday at 10.00 am or the following Tuesday at 8.15 pm.

FISH membership is non-transferable and membership cards are for personal use only.

Guest Policy

Each member is entitled to bring one guest per membership year.

Guest requests only to be made by members by TEXT to Deborah Blay on 0400 411 004 at least 24 hours before the screening.

No email requests will be considered.

Etiquette

We ask that members be seated before the screening commences and have turned off mobile phones.
As a courtesy to other members, please stay seated until the credits have finished at the end of the movie.
